Grassroots and historically underserved nonprofits do some of the hardest, most important work in our communities — often with the least access to technology. Without modern tools for fundraising, compliance, and day-to-day operations, they spend scarce time and money on administration instead of impact, and they struggle to grow.
That gap is the digital divide. It keeps the local nonprofit and tech ecosystem from being as accessible, diverse, inclusive, and equitable as it could be — and it's exactly what the Lite Initiative exists to close.
