Wayne state university C2 Scholars award

C2 Scholars is a program that is intended to assist students in their matriculation from high school to college by providing extra supports, amazing opportunities and unique experiences that aid in personal and professional growth. The C2 Scholars will be selected based on academics, character and commitment to the C2 Pipeline program mission and goals. This elite group will endeavor into a one-of-a-kind chance to make connections, build a professional portfolio and garner hands-on-experience in today's top career fields.

• Student will be eligible for internship opportunities
• Invited to attend special field trips - designed for college and career preparation
• Will participate in Grantee-Wide C2 Scholar Competitions
• Scholarships to attend in-state and out-of-state conferences
• Resume, Scholarship, Financial Aid and Application Workshops
• Scholars will be assigned a Professional Mentor in their desired career pathway
• Extra points added to their Wayne State University and University of Detroit
• Mercy applications
• Each site's cohort will be given a computer to assist in Capstone Project and
• college/career preparation
• Scholarship Opportunities
• Access to Wayne State University programs and instructors from C2 Pipeline

Award Amount: $1,000

Criteria:  

1. Must be attending Wayne State University
2. Must be an active C2 Pipeline Scholar.
3. Must have an Active Lite Tuition Campaign by the scholarship deadline
